United Nations In Liberia Message Of Condolence To Victims Of The Fire Disaster

As messages of condolence to the Liberian Government and people continue to pour in, the United Nations in Liberia has added its own noting, ” The United Nations in Liberia is deeply saddened by the loss of life and destruction wrought by the tragic fire incident at the Islamic School in the Bassa Community in Paynesville, Monrovia, on the night of 17 September 2019.

We, the United Nations Family would like to extend our sincere condolences to the victims of the fire disaster, especially to the families of the 27 children and their instructor, to the injured and all who have been affected by this terrible disaster, and to the Government and People of Liberia. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families and loved ones of those who perished, and to the Muslim community. Your sadness is shared by all of the United Nations Family. May your loved ones rest in peace,” the statement issued today from the UN in Liberia stressed.
