The President of the United States of America (USA), Donald J. Trump has congratulated Liberia on the observing of its 172nd Independence Day, July 26, 2019 celebration.

In a communication posted on social media quoting the United States embassy near Monrovia, said “ The U.S. Embassy has the honor of carrying the below message from President Trump to the President and people of Liberia:

“Dear Mr. President

On behalf of the United States, I extend warm congratulations to the Government and people of Liberia on the occasion of your 172nd anniversary of independence.

We value our historic and longstanding relationship with Liberia, and the work your country is doing to advance security, peace, and prosperity in the region. We look forward to strengthening our economic development engagement in the coming year.

Liberia remains a strong African partner for the United States, and we join you in celebrating your nation’s freedom and independence this July 26.
