PUL Suspends Information Minister, Lenn Eugene Nagbe Membership

Liberia’s Information Minister, Lenn Eugene Nagbe

Following his recent insinuation on a local radio station, calling the Liberian media umbrella organization, the Press Union of Liberia as a useless, the Minister of Information, Lenn Eugene Nagbe’s membership with the Union has with immediate effect suspended.

Speaking on the suspension of the Minister, the Secretary General of the Press Union of Liberia, Daniel Nyankona said the suspension of Ministe Nagbe will remain in full swing until clarification on his recent statement that the PUL is useless is made.

Reacting to the move, Minister Nagbe denied of insulting the Press Union of Liberia, and further vowed to challenge his suspension by the Press Union of Liberia.
