Barshell University College Justifies Dismissal Of Its President, Releases Ten Counts Resolution

The Board of Trustees of the Barshell University College has released additional information about its dismissed President, Rev. Dr. Israel C. Obiasogu, making references of several violations committed during the tenure of Dr. Obiasogu at the University.

The University Board of Trustees ten counts resolution in possession of this outlet outlined said the Board of Trustees of the Barshell University College has unanimously resolved on the following counts against Rev. Dr. Israel C. Obiasogu:

Rev. Dr. Israel C. Obiasogu is mandated to make a comprehensive report on schools finances under his direct supervision as president of the university;

Rev. Dr. Israel C. Obiasogu is mandated by the Board to give reason(s) why his personal accounts were used for students deposits and cash never given to the school;

Rev. Dr. Israel C. Obiasogu has been invited by the Board of Inquiry of the Barshell University College to give reason(s) why administrative and Policy documents belonging to the University should be given to the Press/Media by him (Obiasogu) to be published;

Rev. Dr. Israel C. Obiasogu is invited also by the Board to give reason(s) for padding the University Payroll thereby causing Financial losses to the University;

Rev. Dr. Israel C. Obiasogu is invited by the Board to give reason(s) for including fake names on the University Payroll and paying individuals who are not in the University Human Resource System;

Rev. Dr. Israel C. Obiasogu has been invited by the Board of Inquiry to give reason(s) why he (Obiasogu) should hijack the University’s Cash and abscond with said cash;

Rev. Dr. Israel C. Obiasogu has been mandated by the Board to explain his intent and reasons why he withdrew from the University’s accounts and how said money was used;

Rev. Dr. Israel C. Obiasogu has been mandated by the Board to give reason(s) for abandoning the University and its entrusted properties while serving as President;

Rev. Dr. Israel C. Obiasogu has been mandated by the Board to give reason(s) for his constant and deliberate refusal to adhere to the Board of Inquiry and Financial Audit Team and;

Rev. Dr. Israel C. Obiasogu has been mandated to give reason(s) for his deliberate refusal to submit proper disclosure of his credentials and file to the Human Resource Department;

In view thereof, whereas the Board has resolved to enhance proper growth tactics and administration in its oversight for quality assurance and hope to the youth and people of our country;

Whereas the Board upon upon this sitting has resolved to inform the Administration and Student body of Rev. Dr. Israel C. Obiasogu’s suspension until he (Obiasogu) fully complies with the above listed.

Whereas the Board has mandated Rev. Dr. Israel C. Obiasogu to respond to the Board of Inquiry and Financial Audit Team on or before the 10th of November AD 2018 at 12:00 noon;

Whereas this sitting constitutes its resolution or approval for his discharge of Service leading to his refusal to fully comply with the Board of Inquiry and the aforementioned details written herein;

Whereas the Board has resolved to communicate to the Bank on the removal of Rev. Dr. Israel C. Obiasogu’s name as primary or “A” signatory to the school’s accounts;

Whereas this sitting also constitutes the resolution to finance any legal action(s) if so necessary as the Secretary will inform all Board Members on details relating to any legal proceedings and outcomes before the Board’s next sitting;

Whereas Rev. Dr. Israel C. Obiasogu is mandated upon… to turn over all University Assets currently in his possession to the acting Management Team of the University;

Whereas the Board has invited Rev. Dr. Israel C. Obiasogu to give reason(s) for holding on the University’s administrative documents sent by the National Commission on Higher Education and other institutions and refusing to submit said documents to the Board for Practical and immediate interventions by the Board relative to requests and recommendations made from those institutions;

Whereas the Board has mandated Rev. Dr. Israel C. Obiasogu to immediately cease the publication and public disclosure of University’s administrative documents or face the full weight and measure of the law.

The ten counts resolution signed by Rufus O. James, Secretary of the Board of Trustees and approved by Hon. Ceebee C.D. Barshell, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University noted.
