Former Bong County Electoral District #3 Representative Candidate Loleyah Hawa Norris has stressed the need for Leaders of the County to focus on developing the County for a better tomorrow.
Madam Norris in an interview with this Paper recently in Gbarnga stated that doing so will help the County to move forward adding that development brings happiness to every citizen.
According to her, even though she did not win the October 10th 2017 election, but she remains committed to advocating for the necessary environment that residents of electoral District#3 and Bong County should live in and be happy in the country.
The former Bong County female defeated candidate said for so long leadrs in the county has criticized each other for litter of nothing, which she said has caused the county more harm to the County developments.
She said if citizens in the county must experience huge development under the president George M. Weah pro-poor agenda leaders who are in the driving seats must hold together, noting if not citizens will continues to crying as it was done in the past.
Madam Norris contested in the October 10, 2017 elections and finished as the best female contestant even though she was defeated by Coalition for Democratic Change candidate Josiah Marvin Cole.
During her campaign in the county, she promised reconciliation and development and despite losing the election, she will continue to work for the implementation of those things she promised in the county.
Meanwhile, Norris has underscored the need for reconciliation on grounds that if citizens are reconcile; development will becomes the hallmark of the county.
The former Bong County down-to earth defeated candidate used the medium to call on leaders of the county to priority the completion of those uncompleted projects in the pending county council setting.
Madam Norris said by during so will give the county a good face, adding that those unfinished projects have sent a bad image for the county and its leaders.
