CU Assures Of Scholarships Local Scholars

In an effort to improve quality education in Bong County, the President of Cuttington University Dr. Harmon Brown has disclosed that every dux of all of the High Schools in the County will be given scholarship to attend Cuttington University up to BSC level.

The CU President made the pronouncement Tuesday in Gbarnga, when he toured several high schools in the County.

The tour will last for about three days according to Dr. Harmon Brown.

He said the tour is intended to strengthen the relationship between the University and High Schools in the county.

Besides been a valedictorian, Dr. Brown has stated that the first five persons from the 12th grade class of every high school that will score the highest mark will also be given scholarship to attend Cuttington.

He stated that this is intended to encourage students to take their lesson serious in the county.

The Cuttington University President pledged his institution’s commitment in working with various high school administrators for the over improvement of the education system in the county.

For their part, some of the students and administrators lauded the Cuttington University president for the steps taken to strengthen relationship with high schools in the county.

They at the same time assured Dr. Brown that their schools will do all to ensure better academic excellence.
