
Report reaching this news outlet has disclosed that the General Manager of Sime Darby Plantation Liberia, Mr. David Parker has reportedly been suspended with what the source called ‘With immediate effect’.
According to the unconfirmed report, Mr. Parker has further been asked by the headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia addressing himself to series of allegations been leveled against the Company under his administrative watchful eyes.
As a result of the uncountable happenings at the Plantation during the past months which drew the attention of members of the Liberian legislature citing him and others to appear before that august body, Mr. Parker was also blamed by citizens of both Grand Cape Mount and Bomi Counties of being behind all of the uncontrollable situation.
But in recent interview with reporters, the reported suspended General Manager of SDPL has repeatedly denied his involvement in the ongoing crisis at the Plantation.
Effort by this news outlet to contact Mr. David Parker to confirm or deny his reported suspension proved unsuccessful as all his mobile lines rang endlessly.
