Critic Of CDC, Henry Costa Congratulates George Weah On His Emergence Victory

Liberia’s Talk Show Host, Henry P. Costa

Henry P. Costa, one of Liberia’s most popular talk show host and critic of the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) and its presidential candidate Senator George Manneh Weah, has publicly congratulated Senator Weah for capturing 61.5% of the just ended runoff presidential elections held on December 26, 2017.

On his live ‘Face Book’ post, Costa was one of the first radio talk show host to congratulate Senator Weah, a move that pondered many as to what led to his decision, but others said his move must be appreciated.

On his Face Book wall, Mr. Costa said, “Congratulation President-elect George Weah, we fought for what we believe in, but the will of the majority prevailed. It is now time to prove you critics wrong for the good of our beloved country,” Mr. Costa noted.
