Deputy Information Minister, Jedi Armah Fired

Attorney Jedi Armah, Deputy Minister for Public Affairs at the Ministry of Information, Culture Affairs and Tourism has been dismissed by President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf for what is believed to be an unspecified reason, but the dismissed Minister says his dismissal has nothing to do with his support to Vice President Joseph Boakai’s presidential bid.

Following the dismissal of Attorney Armah by President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf early this week, it was rumored that his dismissal was due to his support to Vice President Boakai’s presidential bid in the pending runoff election.
