Cummings Receives Back to Back Support

Harbel, Margibi- With barely 24 days to the 2017 Presidential and Representatives elections in the country, the Standard Bearer of the opposition Alternative National Congress (ANC) continues to enjoy huge back to back endorsements from across the country in his quest to lead his people.
Recently, while Mr. Cummings was away in central Liberia, one of Liberia’s influential women Madam Aisha Konneh, mobilized and converged more than three thousand people at the National Headquarters of the Alternative National Congress (ANC) to endorse the Presidential bid of Mr. Alexander B. Cummings which, according to political pundits, is a big boost for the ANC’s strongman.
Sunday, October 17, 2017, was another huge endorsement program for the ANC’s Standard Bearer organized by constituents of Margibi County district number 2. The program was held in the auditorium of the Harbel Multilateral high school located in Harbel, Margibi county.
Reading the petition statement on behalf of the petitioners, Mr. Moses Clay said, the decision by residents of Margibi County district number 2 to support Mr. Cummings’ bid for the Presidency is based on the numerous contributions he (Mr. Cummings) has made in the Liberian society and the world at large.
Mr. Clay named the recent donation of medical equipment to rural health care centers including the C.H. Rennie hospital in Margibi county by the Cummings Africa Foundation which was established by the Standard Bearer of the Alternative National Congress (ANC) Mr. Alexander B. Cummings as one of the many reasons why the people of Margibi decided to endorse the ANC Presidential candidate in these elections. “Mr. Cummings also donated 350kva generator to the BWI in Kakata, Margibi county after the institution was facing electricity constrain”. He continued. The BWI is the Booker Washington Institute which provides both Academic and Vocational education.
Responding to the petition from the people of Margibi county, the Standard Bearer of the Alternative National Congress (ANC) Mr. Alexander B. Cummings thanked the petitioners for the preferment and call on them (petitioners) to encourage more people to support him because he offers a real change to the people of Liberia. “I offer real change to the Liberian people. The Change you can trust”. He said.
Meanwhile, Mr. Cummings used the occasion to encourage partisans and supporters of the Alternative National Congress to turn out in their numbers on October 10, 2017 to vote #5 on the Presidential ballot paper if they (citizens) truly want real change for all Liberians.
