Hundreds Turnout At ALP Montserrado County Campaign Launch

As early as 10am today, the Antoinette Tubman Stadium was overcrowd to capacity as hundreds of All Liberian Party (ALP), sympathizers and other well-wishers trooped to the sports stadium in central Monrovia to grace the campaign launch of the party today.

The occasion was indeed colorful with hundreds of ALP supporters dancing to the music of giant-sized speakers mounted at the venue, while several Liberian musical artists wearing the t-shirts of the party symbolizing their support to the presidential candidate of the Party, businessman Benoni Urey.

After hours of waiting at the stadium, and the quest to see their presidential candidate, Mr. Urey and his entourage finally arrived, a situation that awakened the joy of the ALP partisans who thunderously sang pro-Urey songs as the convoy of Mr. Urey slowly drove on the grounds of the ATS.

The group comprised of mostly the young people, the elderly and even the disabled were on the grounds to grace the campaign launch of the opposition All Liberian Party (ALP), and also to assure the party’s presidential candidate of their overwhelming support.

Addressing the occasion, Mr. Urey amidst thunderous applauds from the crowd, assured his supporters of capturing the Executive Mansion as the next President of Liberia come January 2018.
