‘This Is Your Time’ -Nimba District#8 Citizens Resolve On Melvin Garpeh

It is written in the Holy Bible that there is time for everything when God decides. This is exactly what citizens of Nimba County electoral district#8 are politically transmitting to their precious son, Melvin Saye Sendolo Garpeh ahead of the impending October 10, 2017 presidential and legislative elections in the country.

In the 2011 elections, Honorable Garpeh was the main challenger to the incumbent when he contested for the first time in his political sojourn, but the people have now resolved to throw their weight behind him because they have realized that they made mistake in 2011 by electing the wrong person who seeks self-glorification.

According to a release, to fulfil their vow, the venerated and exuberant Representative Candidate who is on the ticket on the holistic, People Unification Party (PUP) continues to receive numerous and heartfelt endorsements as he tours the district unleashing his manifestos for the district.

The University of Liberia (UL), lecturer of governance is fully abreast of the needs of the people. Besides being a Representative candidate, Mr. Garpeh has lived, schooled, farmed and travelled through the length and breadth of the district which puts him in the driving seat ahead of all the other candidates.

The release said as part of his immaculate love for his people and the district, Honorable Garpeh is currently in the district inspecting his sponsored development projects, and at the same time touching bases where necessary.

The reconciler has staged numerous sport tournaments in the district uniting the people of the district, although there have been no conflict, but believes they must hold together for the common good of the district.

Cash prizes, materials were given by Mr. Garpeh and his team to the winners of the sport tournaments while the other teams were also rewarded for their participation.

The team is also repairing bridges, cleaning alongside roads, and other basic things that will bring relieve to the people. Although the district has representative, but there is dormancy of development in every clan, town in the district.

What is more promising is that for every town he enters, residents and citizens trooped the entries with palm thatches, green leafs while women spread their lappers on the ground as sign of their willingness to elect him.

His entry into every town is characterized by traditional melodies from women, men, youth and even children who are not of voting ages want to see Mr.Garpeh because he is an inspiration to everyone.

There is no town in the district that the PUP’s candidate has not identified with its citizens. Prior to this year’s election, Honorable Garpeh has helped with countless scholarships, development projects, health among others.

Many political pundits, Liberians at home and abroad who have come in contact with him have described him as a gift to Nimba district#8 and urged electorates to cherish him.
