Group of Refugees and Militants Will Leave Lebanon to Syria

According to a source close to Lebanese Hezbollah militia, a group of more than 300 Saraya Ahl al-Sham militants and tens of Syrian refugees with their families who previously stayed in Lebanon refugee camp would return to Eastern Qalamoun in Syria today.

Previously in early June, Hezbollah units initiated the operation on clearing the Arsal region bordering Syria from Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham militants (ex Jabhat Al-Nusra) and made significant progress.

According to the International Organization for Migration, more than 600,000 displaced Syrians returned home this year, with 84 percent having been displaced within Syria and the rest coming back from Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan and Iraq.
