4 people killed, 5 injured as bridge collapsed in Nagaland

Guwahati, July 11: At least four people were killed and five others injured when a bridge collapsed in Nagaland’s Dimapur on Tuesday evening, officials said.

According to a GNN Correspondent in Guwahati, the incident took place at 4th Mile area on the way to Niuland Dimapur near the Christian Institute Health Sciences and Research (Referral) hospital.

Dimapur Police Commissioner Limasunep Jamir said that, in the bridge collapse incident four people including two women were died and five others injured.

“Several vehicles also damaged in the incident,” the top police official said.

Meanwhile, police and district administration officials had rushed to the area.
