ANC Receives Another Endorsement From Boakai Forum

The presidential bid of the Standard Bearer of the opposition Alternative National Congress (ANC) continue to swell by the day, as several local groups in Monrovia and its environs are overwhelmingly pledging their unflinching support to the presidential bid of Mr. Alexander Benedict Cummings for the October 10, 2017 general and presidential elections.

One of such group, and the latest to take the stage today in pledging its support to the presidential bid of the ANC standard bearer is the Boakai Community Forum (BCF), a local social group in Monrovia.

In its petitioning statement to the ANC standard bearer, Mr. Cummings and read by an official of the BCF, Mr. Romeo Benson said his group after checking the reputation and character of all the candidates in the 2017 presidential race, it was resolved and agreed that the standard bearer of the ANC is the man to be elected for due to his clean record; being corruption freed.

Mr. Benson speaking further at the occasion which saw the attendance of both Mr. Cummings and his vice-presidential candidate, Jeremiah Sulunteh with other officials of the party, also said the ANC presidential candidate is the man to trust in the upcoming elections.

For his part, the Standard Bearer of the ANC, Mr. Alexander Benedict Cummings thanked the petitioners for their thoughts in selecting his political party as their choice come the 2017 elections, but cautioned them to be decisive in their quest for Liberia’s next president.

He bragged of his ANC-led government in helping to develop Liberia and infuse in job opportunities and improved education for Liberian school going kids, noting, “When elected as president of Liberia, we will do all to bring dignity in the Liberian educational sector. We can do this with your support,” Mr. Cummings told the petitioners.

The occasion also witnessed splendid cultural performances with pro-ANC slogans.
