Ex-girlfriend killed NJ Transit bus driver, aunt says

WASHINGTON TWP. — An NJ Transit bus driver shot to death Tuesday afternoon was killed by his estranged girlfriend, a member of the victim’s family believes.

Ryon C. Reynolds, 45, of Sicklerville, was shot Tuesday afternoon at the NJ Transit bus garage on Black Horse Pike in Washington Township, Gloucester County.

A short time later, the alleged shooter, Piacenta M. Jackson, 44, of Woodbury, shot herself in Mantua Township, according to a statement from the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s office.

Reynolds and Jackson had dated, but he had broken off the relationship, according to his aunt, Rose Reynolds.
