The teaching staff of the Grand Bassa Community College (BCC) has reportedly threatened to go on a go-slow action beginning today, April 24, 2017 for reason they said is purely administrative, and will continue until their plight is address.
A Correspondent of a local radio station in the County said as a result of this action on the part of the teaching staff, smooth activities on the campus of the College will be shut down, compelling students of that institution to be out of classes for time indefinite.
The Grand Bassa Community College (GBCC) is one of the many community colleges in the Country established by the Liberian Government to help ease difficulties being faced by high school graduates in those counties who cannot afford to transit to the Liberian capital, Monrovia for college education.
Detail will be followed in our subsequent posting.
