On Sunday night about 200 people walked out of Amy Schumer’s show at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida after she called Donald Trump, among other things, an “orange, sexual assaulting, fake college starting monster.” It’s unclear if they had never heard Schumer’s comedy before, or have just completely had it with politics.
The number of audience members who booed and eventually left was relatively small, according to the Tampa Bay Times. (The arena has a capacity of roughly 20,000 and was the site of the 2012 Republican National Convention.)
About halfway through the show, Schumer began discussing political topics, such as the election and gun control. The Times reports:
