Clinton and Trump are neck-and-neck

trumppollsplit-copyWASHINGTON – Hillary Clinton’s lead over Donald Trump in key battleground states has collapsed.

The race in 13 combined swing states is now deadlocked with Clinton and Trump tied 42 percent – a one point slide for Clinton since last week and two-percentage point decline since Labor Day weekend, according to new CBS News Battleground Tracker polls.

The dead-heat survey was taken among 4,202 registered voters of 13 battleground states: North Carolina and Pennsylvania, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Michigan, New Hampshire, Nevada, Ohio, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
