As the woe of indicted Speaker Tyler deepen with critics describing his decision not to recues himself from presiding over session in the face of the Global Witness report linking him and several others in government and out of government with bribery scandal from the Stable Mining Company, the relationship between the Speaker and the Executive seems to be turning sour.
GNN investigation conducted few days ago has discovered that the longstanding marriage between Speaker Tyler and the head of the Executive, President Ellen Johnson has falling apart due to some differences including his recent allegation against the Liberian leader that she is involved in the distribution of CASH to members of the anti-Tyler bloc to push for his removal.
This allegation reportedly angered the Speaker who in return threw words at the Liberian leader at one of his well attended press conference, where in indicated also admitted that his removal and recusal ploy was personally been shouldered by President Sirleaf, even though the Executive Mansion is yet to deny or confirm the allegation from the indicted Speaker of the House of Representatives.
However, our reporter who witnessed and covered the signing ceremonies of the Book of Condolence of the fallen Minister of State, Dr. Edward McClain by both the Pro and Anti-blocs said the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives who is also the leader of the Anti-Tyler bloc was seen in a very closed consultation with the Liberian leader as both were seen smiling.
But this, is to the contrary for the Pro-Tyler bloc members who our reporter said also went over to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the signing of the Book of Condolence the fallen Minister of State for Presidential Affairs, Dr. McClain when the leader of the Pro-Tyler members, Speaker Alex Tyler made the attempt to shake the hands of the Liberian leader was shunned, a situation our reporter said drew the attention of many who were at the program.
However, our investigation continues.
