A petition calling for a second EU referendum has reached more than 150,000 signatures – and will be considered for debate in Parliament
The page , set up by William Oliver Healey, reads: “We the undersigned call upon HM Government to implement a rule that if they Remain or Leave vote is less than 60% based on a turnout less than 75%, there should be another referendum.”
It attracted nearly 10,000 in just an hour on Friday morning and by Friday evening had reached more than 157,000.
If a petition gets more than 10,000 signatures, the Government will respond.
