Police in Bomi County, western Liberia are investigating the mysterious death of a 47-year old man whose body was discovered on Sirleaf Camp along the Monrovia and Bomi County highway.
According to a local daily, quoting police source, the body of Alfred Gorden was late Tuesday afternoon discovered under an old farm kitchen, two minutes walk from the Sirleaf Camp with his face laying flat on the ground.
The victim, according to the police was an employee working on the farm of Speaker Tyler, police source also said local police in the county disclosed that following a medical examination by health authority in the County yesterday, a 15-man coronal jury was constituted to do further examination on the body, findings after the examination found out that there was no foul pay.
But speaking to reporters, the Farm Manager, Morris Sayou expressed regret over the death of his colleague whom he said he has been known for years.
The younger brother of the victim, Washington, described the death of his brother as a loss to his family, but observed that it was too early to point accusing finger at anyone about his death.
According to source, the mysterious death of Morris brings to two the number of deaths on the farm of Speaker Tyler. Up to date it is not clear as to what led to the death of Alfred Gorden.
