The Liberian Vice President Ambassador Joseph N. Boakai has poured praises to the Founder and Chief Executive of the Groupe Ndoum Bank of Ghana, Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom for his farsightedness in interest to invest in Liberia through the establishment of his financial institution, the GN Bank Liberia Limited.

The Liberian Vice made the commendation yesterday, Thursday, June 9, 2016 at the official launching of the GN Bank Liberia Limited at the Monrovia City Hall, also made specific reference for the bank’s investment of over $18.5m into the Liberia economy, a step which noted will help in upgrading the Liberian economy and improving the livelihood of the Liberians.
For his part, the Executive Governor of the Central Bank of Liberia (CBL), Mr. J. Milton Weeks expressed confidence in the establishment of the bank in Liberia, and assured the many depositors of the Bank and stressed them that their monies will be secured, and urged them to make maximum use of the bank.
Similar commendations came from proxies for the Ministers of Finance, Development and Planning, and the Commence and Industry, who also assured the Liberian people that the Bank’s presence in the Country will help to boost the Liberian economy.

Speaking on behalf of the Groupe Ndoum, owner of the GN Bank Liberia Limited, Dr. Papa Kwesi Ndoum assured Liberians of his bank’s professional services while operating in Liberia, and also spoke of the financial weight his bank has internationally to impact the lives of individuals in the United States, Europe and other parts of the world.
Dr, Ndoum who expressed explicit confidence in the Liberian economy, further boasted his bank’s success in his home country, Ghana where he said the bank is currently operating over 260 branches and assured the Liberian people that similar technique will be applied in the country to help boost the Liberian economy.

Speaking to the GNN, the Managing Director of the bank, Mr. Joseph Amim also assured the Liberian people and the bank’s many depositors that the bank will provide professional banking services during its operation in Liberia.
Several prominent Liberians from the Liberian financial and other private sectors including officials from the Liberian Government were all in attendance.
