Bishop Anthony Borwah of the Catholic Diocese of Gbarnga noted that the TRC process was supported by war lords and their sponsors and cannot obviously give true reconciliation to Liberian people.

He wants Liberians seek forgiveness from their fellowman through Jesus whom he described as “the true giver of mercy.”

Speaking at the celebration of the “World Jubilee Year of Mercy”, held at Holy Spirit Cathedral in Gbarnga Sunday, Bishop Borwah called on Liberians to seek true forgiveness and forgive others as a means of strengthening their relationship with God and their fellow humans.
