Sad news coming in indicates that Dr. Atai Omoruto, the Uganda doctor who led the Ebola team of Ugandans in the fight against the deadly disease in Liberia, has passed on.

According to the Ugandan New Vision Newspaper Online, her death  news coming in indicates that Dr. Atai Annae Omoruto, the Ugandan doctor who led the Ebola team of Ugandans in the fight against the deadly disease in Liberia, has passed on.

Dr. Atai succumbed to pancreatic cancer yesterday, Wednesday night at 3.00am.
