As he struggle to register his new political party with the National Elections Commission (NEC) after being dethroned from the National Union for Democratic Progress party which he founded by some members of the party, Senator Prince Johnson has disclosed that his new party will shortly be launched.
Speaking to reporters in Monrovia, the Nimba County Senator said his new political party, the Movement for Democracy and Reconstruction (MDR) when given the green light to contest the pending 2017 general and presidential elections will collaborate with the Liberian Vice President team for his presidential bid.
He poured praises on VP Boakai noting that he is the only person who can lead Liberia due to his maturity in the Liberian politics and his abled leadership over the years is worth commendations, the Nimba County County noted.
Some Liberians who spoke to this news outlet described the Nimba County Senator as a man who should not be trusted, stressing that he is indeed unpredictable in most of his utterances.
“That guy my brother is not dependable especially when it comes to what he say should not be trusted, he will say something and do another,” Daniel Johnson, a resident of West Point in a chat with our reporter noted.
