4 injured on Ghana’s Presidential convoy in accident

accidentGHANAWEB – Four people sustained injuries on Thursday night when one of the vehicles in the presidential convoy was involved in an accident.

President John Dramani Mahama was on his way to Agordake in the Volta Region to commission a pontoon when the accident occurred between Ekye Amanfrom and Agordake around 7pm.

The accident vehicle was a Toyota Land cruiser which had been allocated to the press corp that accompanied  on the President’s “Accounting to the people” tour of the Eastern region.

The Minister of Communications, Dr. Edward Omane Boamah   Friday morning, April 15, 2016 said the injured were treated by the medical team that accompanied the president.
