New York Police Arrest Man Accused of Killing a Truck Driver after Carjacking the Victim

NY{New York 1} – Police arrested the man they say stole a flatbed truck in Brooklyn then ran over its owner, killing him.

The NYPD says 24-year-old Joshua Colon was charged with murder, robbery and grand larceny.

The incident happened just after 9 a.m. Monday at 25th Street and 4th Avenue in Sunset Park.

Police say 63-year-old Phil Dellegrazio saw Colon stealing his company truck, and chased after him in another car.

Investigators say Dellegrazio caught up to Colon and got into a fight with him.

Dellegrazio fell to the ground, and that’s when police say Colon hit him with the truck then ran off on foot. READ MORE OF THIS STORY
