ALP Political Leader Opts For The Release On Bail Of Vandalark Patricks, But Cautioned Supporters

b ureyThe political leader of the All Liberia Party (ALP), Mr. Benoni Urey has reportedly come to the rescue of the legal team of rights advocate, Mr. Vandalark Patricks who was last week arrested by state security and sentenced to prison on sedition and label charges by the Liberia Government.

According to report, the ALP political leader cautioning all supporters and sympathizers of Mr. Patricks that all that indeed legal requirements have been fulfilled for the release from detention of Mr. Vandalark Patricks on Monday, and said the matter rests with the courts of Liberia.

Stressing further, a statement posted on a social media network (Face Book) by Mr. Sam Jackson, said “we should keep Mr. Patricks in our prayers and hope that the judicial system performs as it should in order for our brother to be reunited with family and friends. He expresses his gratitude and appreciation”.

The statement quoting Mr. Urey said, “But he wants me to let you know that he alone should not take the praises. Thousands of well-wishers in Liberia and from around the world through their prayers and support made this possible,” the statement concluded.
