An official of the opposition Congress for Democratic Change (CDC), Mulbah Morlue has declared that the Liberian Government will regret for the imprisonment of Vandalark Patricks at the Monrovia Central Prison in Monrovia after being charged with sedition.
In a post on the social media network, Mr. Morlue said President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf’s has resolved to abuse the rights of Mr. Paatricks and others, noting, “This President is returning Liberia to the dark ghastly days of the past from which she emerged,” , Motrlue in a rather rash words told reporters.
Morlue in his Face Book post further issued an unclear warning to the Liberian Government that if Vandalark in his o, is not release within 72 hours, “We couldn’t be clearer that Government stands to regret why it arrested Vandalark in the first place,” he told reporters.
He said the mistreatment of Vandalark is not only arbitrary, but constitutes a miscarriage of justice, stressing, “This should be a warning that we are bounding back in those old days where people were put behind bars because they spoke the truth,” he boastfully to reporters.
It is not known when Vandalark will be released from further detention.
