LIBERIA: Vandalark Patricks Arrested For Allegations Against Gov’t On The Death Of Harry Greaves?

vpatnews1A Liberian social media network has widely reported that Mr. Vandalark Patrick was surreptitiously picked up by unidentified men believed to be members of the state security and placed in in a white Nissan Patrol SUV vehicle with license plate (BC3591).

According to the report he was picked up to provide evidence to critical comments allegations he made against the Liberian Government yesterday in regards of the alleged involvement in the brutal murder of Mr. Harry Greaves.

The report also said he was allegedly arrested based a Communique read on behalf of political parties and civil society organizations on Sunday February 21,2016 calling for a mass citizens action on March 11.

In his statement he accused the Liberian Government of hiring assassins to murder the former LPRC Managing Director, Mr. Harry Greaves and eliminate other political opponents in order to maintain state power.

Effort by this news outlet to get online the spokesman of the Liberia National Police, Sam Collins to confirm the arrest of Mr. Patricks has proven unsuccessful. Detail will follow in our subsequent posting.
