Montserrado County Representative Saah Joseph has disclosed plans to bring medical practitioners from abroad to help train health workers in Liberia.
He noted that this will provide an opportunity to build the capacity of health practitioners in the country.
In an interview with the Liberia News Agency Tuesday, the Montserrado County District #13 lawmaker noted that the training of medical practitioners is necessary to curtail mistakes some doctors and nurses make when performing their duties.
Representative Joseph commended the Liberian people for the support accorded him during the fight to eradicate the Ebola disease.
He also commended the team of workers that rallied around him when he was providing free ambulance services to those victimized by the disease during the crisis.
