Liberian Vice President Pays a Visit to Governor Dayton

(St. Paul, MN)  —  Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton met with vice president of Liberia Joseph Boakai early this week to discuss the impact of the Ebola epidemic on his country.

According to a US based online news outlet, The Voice Of Alexandria, the Twin Cities region has one of the largest Liberian populations in the U-S, with about 30-thousand Liberian natives.

About 17 percent of Liberians living in the country reside in Brooklyn Park. Boakai spoke with Dayton about the lack of medical supplies and personnel slowing his country's attempt to recover from the Ebola epidemic as well as its civil war.
