The Superintendent of Grand Bassa County has reportedly resigned her position due what she termed as ‘Constant interfering’ by the county’s lawmaker in her work as Superintendent of the county.

According to report, Madam Cooper tendered in her resignation to her boss, President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf over the weekend expressing her displeasure over the constant interfering of the county’s lawmakers in her work as Superintendent of the County.

For his part, the head of the Grand Bassa County legislative caucus alleged that the Superintendent Cooper had constantly misapplied monies intended for the county over the years, making specific reference of the misapplication of over US$600,000.00.

But speaking to a local radio station via mobile phone, madam repeatedly said she has no comment on the issue.
