LIBERIA: Court Closes Publisher Philipbert Browne Business Establishments Based On Complain Filed By Wilard Russell Demanding US$5Million

A local court at the temple of Justice today ordered the closure of all businesses belonging to the Publisher of two local dailies, the National Chronicle and the Hot pepper newspapers for allegedly featured in his paper some time ago that the former Director General of the General Services Agency (GSA) name has been placed on the sanctions UN list.

According to the Publisher of the paper, Mr. Philipbert Brown, he has been sued  for US$5,000.000 (Five Million United States Dollars), and alleged that the brain behind the lawsuit is Madam Madina Wesseh.

He said Madam Wesseh personally went to an Insurance Company, Mutual Benefit Assurance for a Bond in order to successfully carryout her mission in closiing dwon the Hot Pepper newspaper and other bsuinesses owned by Mr. Brown said.

The Supreme Court of Liberia ordered the reopening of his National Chronicle Newspaper closed last year by the Liberian Government through the Liberia National Police.
