Daniel Othello Warrick, former Director of the Executive Protection Service (EPS), is dead. Warrick died early Saturday morning when he fell off, after experiencing a brain aneurism at his home in Monrovia.
It can be recalled that, about three years ago, Warrick underwent a brain surgery in the US, which was fully paid for by the US government. Warrick served the US military during the Gulf War in 2001.
According to a close family member, who spoke to Hot Pepper, the former EPS boss died at the Aspen Medical Liberia Clinic in Sinkor. She said several friends and relatives made last-minute effort to have Warrick airlifted to Dakar Friday for emergency procedure, but weather conditions made it impossible.
Warrick previously served as Deputy Minister for National Defense in the government.
The medical chopper was due in Monrovia early Saturday morning, but the former EPS boss did not survive; he was pronounced dead early Saturday morning.
