U.S. Based Media Group Supports VP Boakai’s Presidential Bid

A Liberian media group based in the United States of America has declared its support for the presidential bid of Vice President Joseph N. Boakai in the 2017 general and presidential elections.
The group, G S Media Network, has also expressed the belief that when Vice President Boakai is elected to lead the country, he will steer the nation to nobler heights because “he is a man of principles and integrity.”

G S Media Network Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Gregory Stemn, made the statement in the office of the Vice President at the Capitol Building at the weekend when presented a photo archive of the 2011 induction ceremony of the VP and President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.

Stemn said his organization was overwhelmed by the news that Ambassador Boakai had accepted a petition to contest the presidency in 2017.

“I believe in the leadership ability of VP Boakai as demonstrated when he was at the Liberia Produce Marking Cooperation, the Young Men’s Christian Association and Ministry of Agriculture where I was fortunate to work as a cadet in those days,” Stemn indicated .

In remarks, Ambassador Boakai commended the G S Media Network for its decision to support his presidential bid in the 2017 general and presidential elections and promised to work with all talented Liberians who have the country at heart.
