UN Security Council To Assess Ebola Impact And Stability In Liberia

United Nations Security Council has reported this month, March, 2015 that it is expected to receive a briefing from the Department of Peacekeeping Operations (DPKO), assessing the impact of Ebola on stability in Liberia and presenting options for resuming the drawdown of UNMIL.

This information was contained in its March 2015 forecast.

Last December, the Council adopted a resolution renewing sanctions measures on Liberia, which did expire on 12 December. The draft resolution was put in blue on 3 December, following one its meetings last year. See More of this information.
