The Ministry of Labour has disclosed that more than 3,000 job seekers have registered in Monrovia and some have gained employment at public and private institutions.
According to a release quoted by Liberia News Agency, the ministry’s Director of the National Bureau for Employment, George Saah, said qualified Liberians who are seeking employment should apply to the bureau.
Saah made the disclosure recently at a two-day employment service training workshop for 50 youths and potential employment officers in Gbarnga, Bong County.
He stressed the need to establish public and private employment service institutions across Liberia to help both qualified and unskilled Liberians to get employment.
Saah explained that the employment service training is intended to motivate Liberian youths and other job seekers to be prepared for interviews on the job market in Liberia.
