Golden Veroleum Liberia has donated a check of six thousand United States Dollars to the Liberian Surgical Outreach Program (LISOP), for its ongoing campaign to provide better healthcare to rural communities. The check presentation will take place at the GVL Monrovia headquarters office today, 23 July 2014, at 3:00 PM.
Accepting the check on behalf of the LISOP, its Executive Director Dr. Lawrence Sherman, thanked the management of the GVL for its numerous contributions to the group. He landed the company for being thoughtful in helping to bring relief to suffering Liberian people.
He also noted GVL’s previous donation made to the organizations during LISOP’s medical campaign in Grand Kru, which took place at the Rally Time Hospital, and disclosed that during the Grand Kru campaign several local residents received corrective surgeries, and approximately 115 people from Garraway, Newaken, Boah, Sass Town, Weteken, Grand Cess, Behwan, Geneken, Wilsonville, Barclayville, Sorroken and Beloken received care for various medical conditions.
Golden Veroleum Liberia is partnering with Liberia Surgical Outreach Program to provide free surgical and medical opportunity to poor Sinoe citizens. A total of 12 surgeons, anesthetists and medical personnel (LISOP members) will perform the surgeries.
