LIBERIA: NPA Management Rescues Sea Erosion Victims In Popo Beach And West Point Communities

The management of the National Port Authority (NPA) as once again come to the aid of dozens of Liberians who were recently affected by sea erosion in Monrovia, particularly the Popo Beach Community on Bushrod Island and the Township of West Point; providing assorted items including several bundles of zinc, bags of rice and cement to help the victims rebuild their lives.

The victims, many of whom are the elderly including women, and children   at the various distribution sites praised the NPA management for its thoughtfulness, and kind gesture by coming to their rescue during the time of their distress.

For her part, the Commissioner of the Township of West Point, Madam Miatta  Flowers in receiving the items, thanked the NPA management for coming the aid of the sea erosion victims, and called on other entities to follow the good example of the Matilda Parker’s led NPA management.

The NPA delegation was headed by Ismeal Kofeh.
