LIBERIA: “Mary Broh Is My Preferred Replacement For The Presidency Come 2017”, President Sirleaf Announces

At last, President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has broken the ice as to who she prefer to be her successor come 2017 after she should have relinquish her presidency, saying Madam Mary T. Broh current Director General of the General Service Agency (GSA).

Addressing a cross section of citizens in Greenville, Sinoe County, President Sirleaf praised Madam Broh for her refined leadership and transformation to where she was appointed, noting, “Madam Broh is hardworking, and I preferred for her to replace me as President of Liberia.

This disclosure has now put to rest dozens of names that were being speculated to replace President Sirleaf during the 2017 general and presidential elections.

Some of the names included the current Vice President; Joseph N. Boakai, Minister of Finance; Amara Konneh,   and Central Bank of Liberia (CBL) Executive Governor, Dr. Joseph Mills Jones.
