Following the reported death of two young people a male and female for consuming the newly discovered Zombie drugs current been sole on the Liberian market, a Sierra Leonean has been arrested in Monrovia by officers of the Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA).

Ms. “Gertrue Bangura”, who was considered as a notorious female drugs baron was caught with huge quantities of drugs worth thousands of United States Dollars, Suspect Bangura based on court warrant was arrested with 32 plates of compressed marijuana, constituting 22.2 kg, 16 plastics of Kush constituting 20.09 g among others illicit substances in her possession.

During preliminary investigation, the suspect at her own volition admitted to being a regular conduit in supplying women with drugs for sale and distribution, she also revealed that she has been in the business since 2019.  Suspect remains in LDEA custody pending court hearing.

Meanwhile, the LDEA boss has commended the men and women of the agency for their commitment and dedication in arresting drugs dealers and traffickers as the nation becomes inundated by the drugs crisis.
