Quoiquoi Speaks of Fearless Justice In Troubled Kornia Town

The town of Kornia in Lofa County with the population of over 9,000 during the year was a scene of news report following the brutal murder of a female student by some unknown men was recently visited by a staff of the GNN who accompanied the the Chief Financier of the Liberia Surgical Outreach Program or LISOP, Mr. Simeon Freeman on a fact finding mission to see for himself the plight of the people in that part of the country.

During the visit, the acting Justice of the Peace, James Quoiquoi, father of the President of the Press Union of Liberia (PUL), Peter Quoiquoi, expressed gratitude over the level of unity being existed between the Mandingoes and the Lorma.

He said both groups have decided to come together and help build a united force for the rapid growth and development of their beloved county which falls under the Zorzor District of the County.

‘JP’ Quoiquoi said the justice system in the county is gradually making headway, as the rule of law is making its presence felt amongst the citizenry of the area.

Speaking further on the plight of his people, Quoiquoi stressed the importance of health services in the area, and lauded the effort of the Liberia Surgical Outreach Program (LISOP) sponsored by the CEO of Consolidated Group, Mr. Simeon Freeman for coming to their aide in making available free surgical services.

He than urged the Chief Justice to  come to he rescue of his office, “I am just providing these services to my people to adjudicate cases here in order to bring about peace amongst my people,” ‘JP’ Quoiquoi during an exclusive interview told the GNN.
