Missing Grebo Governor Found Dead In Grand Gedeh, Tension Builds Up
The recent launch of a massive search of 52-year-old Grebo Governor in Zwedru, Grand Gedeh County, Paul Horto came to an end
this week with the man discovered dead.
Mr. Horto's remains was found with part missing, just a few kilometers from his cassava patch near Dugbe River on July 14,
2010.
According to report, the deceased's left eye was extracted and with a vine cut on the neck. Police have apprehended five
male suspects for investigation in connection with the mysterious death, but are yet to be charged.
The late Horto family and the Grebo Community in Grand Gedeh, particularly in Zwedru are demanding a speedy investigation
into the cause of death.
During the week, a mass meeting was called by Grebo citizens in the county at which time the citizens collected money to
finance for the burial of he late horto.
Meanwhile, tension is said to building up as a result of the brutal murder of Paul Horto, investigation continues.
