Liberians want Victor Bout testify in The Hague

 Following report that one of the world’s alleged notorious gun runners, Victor Bout that he has been extradited from Thailand to the United States, where he is expected to face arms dealing charges relating to Colombia, Liberians who spoke to the GNN are also urging the International Criminal Court in The Hague to call on him in order to testify in the ongoing Charles Taylor trial.

LIBERIA: Despite GOL budgetary support of US$7.5M to UL, 6,000 ‘flunk’ entrance

Report from the campus of the nation’s highest institution learning, the University of Liberia (UL), says 6,000 would be students have failed the entrance exam recently administered by the institution, despite effort being applied by the Liberian Government to provide support.

  The former Chairman of Liberia's Council of State, Counselor David  G. Kpormakpor  is dead, according to a dispatch issued by the Citizens United for Brumskine Election (CUBE), the former Head of State died on August 19, 2010 in Staten Island, New York, the USA.
