Sheikh Mohammed Awal Arrives In Liberia

Shiek Muhammad Awal is expected to arrive in the country upon the invitation of the  Islamic affairs Adviser to the Liberian leader President George M. Weah Sheik Usmane T. Jalloh    for a program scheduled to be held November 29 2020 at the Antoinette Tubman stadium on Lynch Street in Central Monrovia.

Sheikh Mohammed Awal, is a founder and director of Zaitun Dawah Institute (ZDI), a think tank research center with headquarters is in Seattle Washington State USA, and branches in NY, Atlanta, Nigeria, and Ghana. Sheikh Awal is a scholar in Islamic Sciences, Comparative Religion and logic. He is an Islamic apologist, a debater, a motivational speaker and a prolific writer

Disclosing this in an interview with Reporter in Monrovia recently the President Weah”s  Islamic affairs Adviser Sheik Jalloh   used the occasion to encourage all Muslims and non-Muslims in the country to turn out in number to grace the all-important program which will include honoring of the Liberian leader for appointing am Islamic affairs Adviser to him for the first time since Liberian was declared as an independent country in 1847.

He said Sheikh Mohammed Awal will also lead some members of the Muslims community to visit some counties in Liberia including Grand Cape Mount, Bomi Margibi Counties to talk to some citizens of Liberia both in western and Northern Liberia on peace.
