In Grand Kru County: Ex-Education Minister George Werner Completes Payment To LICOSSES Graduate Arrears

Liberia’s former Minister of Education, George Werner has completed the payment of a little over half a million Liberian Dollars to authority of the LICOSSES teacher training institute.

It can be record that in February of this Year, the former education minister made a promise of half million Liberian Dollars to settle arrears of the graduating class for the teacher training institute as he served as keynotes speaker.

Mr. Werner having served the Education Ministry sees early childhood education as a foundation for a brighter Liberia through a sustainable capacity building. He made the remarks recently when he was contacted by our GNN, Grand Kru correspondent on Radio Atheena Hot talk show program.

Meanwhile Minister Werner says it is now time for committed and dedicated sons and daughters of Grand kru to take on responsibility of heading key political positions in the Liberia legislatures.

According to him, Grand Kru as a County needs a political figure in Werner as he mentioned key government’s functioning he has served as an added advantage to serve the County in the Liberian Senate.

The former Education Minister publicly confirmed that he is contesting the ensuring Midterm senatorial Elections expected in December of this Year.
