Henry Costa Blasts Those Behind The Expulsion Of Senator Abraham Darius Dillon

Following report that the Plenary of the Liberian Senate has setup a committee to investigate Montserrado County Abraham Darius Dillon for his recent statement made to the media that members of the Senate are ‘Spineless, Rotten, Useless’, the Chairman of the Council of Patriots (CoP), Henry P. Costa has publicly challenged the Senate that any attempt to unconstitutionally remove Senator Abraham Darius Dillon will be forcefully resisted by the Liberian people.

Speaking on his live talk show, The Costa Show on Friday, May 29, 2020 direct from the United States, Costa accused Grand Cape County Senator, Varney Sherman and Lofa County Senator George Tengbeh who is also a member of the opposition Liberty Party of which Dillon is an executive member are said to be behind the removal of Senator Dillon.

The tough talking Council of Patriots founder explained that Abraham Darius Dillon did not go to the Senate by himself, he went to the Senate because the Liberian people wanted an insurgent to the Senate, he is doing exactly what the people sent him there to do.

“We who made Darius Dillon to go to the Senate are pleased of what he is doing; he is not just an ordinary Senator, he is a Senator of the COP. I want to say this to the Senate, as Chairman of the COP, I want to inform you and warn you that any attempt to try to unconstitutionally remove Darius Dillon it will be resisted by the Liberian people ”, Costa speaking further on his show said.

Mr. Costa challenged the Liberian Senate to expel Senator Dillon, stressing that he dared all of those behind the removal of Senator Dillon to make any move in this direction by doing all for the removal of Senator Dillon, adding, “I dare Senator Albert Chea, Senator Varney Sherman and all of those behind this step.
