Ex-Mayor Of The City Of  Brewerville, George V. Curtis Is Dead After Battling With COVID-19 In New York

The former Mayor of the City of Brewer under the former ruling Unity Party Government, and former District #17 aspirant for Montserrado County, George B. Curtis  has reportedly died following a brief illness as a result of the Coronavirus in New York, the United States  of America.

According to information from New York, Mr. Curtis died early Tuesday morning, May 5, 2020 after battling with this deadly Coronavirus for number of weeks.

Prior to his death, Mr. Curtis was the founder of a humanitarian organization, Alfred B. Curtis Sr. Foundation (ABC) in his father’s memory which provided assistance to the most valuables in the communities of Brewerville, and was also a founder of a local radio station in the township.

He leaves to move his wife, Pastor Belinda Curtis who is also of the head pastor of the First United Christian Church (FUCC) in New York, the United States and his host of relatives including his children here in Liberia and the United States.
